Garlyn Place is proud to announce the successful inaugural opening of our Unite Day Program at Pine Forest Baptist Church. This significant occasion demonstrated the resilience and adaptability of our Uniters as they participated in a variety of activities. The day began with a gym session in preparation for a recycling program focused on cleaning Mardi Gras beads. Participants then enjoyed lunch followed by relaxation time in our zen room, where they listened to meditation music, practiced light yoga, or watched a movie. The afternoon featured an artistic activity where participants learned to sketch cats and dogs. Each Uniter found enjoyment in multiple activities and is looking forward to the next session. With twelve Uniters currently enrolled, we are accepting a limited number of additional participants before expanding our days of operation.
