Defining Garlyn Place’s Visual Identity

Over a year ago, the Garlyn Place board of directors recognized the significance of creating a logo that embodies our mission and the essence of Orange County. We lacked clarity on its design. Board member Pauline Brown proposed hosting a high school art contest. Following outreach to local art educators, we received 16 submissions. The board selected three finalists before choosing the winner. With assistance from Vidor High School staff, we officially announced Kaylin Holeman as the winner of the Garlyn Place logo contest.
