The inaugural Tee Up for Autism event exceeded all expectations. We are humbled by the generosity and support displayed by our community. Our sincerest gratitude is extended to our sponsors, teams, vendors, and volunteers. The feedback received was uniformly positive, highlighting the event’s impact. We are eager to build upon this success and host an even more impressive tournament next year. Yesterday’s event served as a poignant reminder of the transformative power of inclusion and connection, as golfers from Lumberton ISD and Hardin-Jefferson ISD joined forces with Garlyn Place participants with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities, creating lasting memories and sharing a passion for the game. This game has the unique ability to bring us all together. We look forward to seeing you on the green in 2026.

What a fantastic morning spent on the green with amazing people! We are thrilled to welcome Garlyn Place into our community and deeply appreciate the meaningful opportunities they are creating for individuals with special needs.
The 1st Annual Tee Up for Autism Golf Scramble, benefitting Garlyn Place, was a tremendous success! A heartfelt thank you to the Lumberton Raider Boys and our neighbors, the Hardin-Jefferson Girls golf teams for joining our Uniters on the course. These students showed compassion, sportsmanship, and true team spirit throughout the day. Both schools should be incredibly proud of their athletes!

A very special thanks to Assistant Principal Emily Allen for organizing and helping make our involvement in this event possible, and to Coach Justin Hale for encouraging and supporting our boys to take part in such a meaningful day.
This event was more than just a fundraiser — it was a powerful reminder of inclusion and connection. Our boys played on unified teams alongside participants from Garlyn Place, sharing laughs, stories, and a love of the game.
